MSCA projects Horizon Europe

                                                             Horizon Europe

Retour sur MSCA Infoday, 18 March 2026

Aim of the Infoday:

The main objective of this MSCA Infoday is to increase Algeria’s, Jordan’s and Morocco’s participation in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), with a particular focus on Staff Exchanges (SE) while also providing an overview of the other MSCA schemes.

Jordanian, Moroccan, and Algerian institutions are automatically eligible for funding under MSCA. However, this funding eligibility is often not well known and therefore needs to be clearly and prominently communicated.

In this context, the Info Day aims to raise awareness among academic and non-academic sector participants, including universities, research-performing organisations, public institutions, and private-sector stakeholders, about the benefits, participation modalities, and strategic relevance of MSCA, especially Staff Exchanges, which is particularly accessible and suitable for the institutions.

The event will take place on 18 March 2026 and will be organised by the MSCA-GLOPOL project funded by the European Commission.

Targeted awareness-raising sessions will inform potential host institutions and research teams about how to engage in MSCA projects, form international partnerships, and strengthen their integration into European research networks.

The agenda will also include a dedicated session on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Matchmaking Platform, encouraging stakeholders to register and actively use the platform to identify partners and participate in MSCA SE.

Overall, the expected impact of the event is to increase the number of research teams participating as partners in submitted MSCA projects, thereby enhancing Algeria’s, Jordan’s and Morocco’s visibility, integration, and collaboration within the European Research Area.
